I love love love Met Gala fashion. Designers and celebrities don't hold back when it comes to designing and styling looks.
As most of you know this years theme was "punk", which I wasn't crazy about at first, but was interested to see how everyone would play it off.
MY FAVORITE LOOKS OF THE NIGHT:
Alison Williams rocked it in this Altuzarra gown. I love the cut outs, the sheer, the train, and the different fabrics. Perfection.

As much as it kills me to love anything Anne Hathaway wears, I must say she looked stunning in this sheer Valentino gown. It fits her like a glove (and I love the new hair...I'm saying this as I roll my eyes).
Surprisingly, there weren't that many red gowns walking the carpet last night. Amber Heard looked fabulous in this Emilio Pucci gown. I'm obsessed with the beading and the patterned cut out.
Blake Lively is always so stunning on the red carpet and last night was no different. Look at her rocking it in this gorgeous gown by Gucci Premiere. Could she be any more perfect? LOVE!
This look is so typical for the always fabulous Nicole Richie. Love the hair, love the TopShop dress, and love her!
I don't think I could be any more obsessed with Cara Delevingne. She is
so flawless and she totally nailed the punk theme with this spiked black
and gold Burberry gown. But seriously Cara, can we be friends?
Leave it to Gwen Stefani to wear a giant bow for a top. I don't think I would like this Maison Martin gown on anyone except her. Her signature red lips totally complete the look.
Jessica Alba looked amazing as always in this Tory Burch gown. I'm really digging the pattern on this dress. She decided to go subtle with hair and make up which I love because there is so much going on in the gown.
Ok. Who doesn't love Miranda Kerr? She's literally the cutest thing in the world and I secretly want to be her. From her flawless street fashion to the red carpet, she never misses. This Michael Kors gown looks amazing on her (but what doesn't?)
Kristen Stewart, who was recently voted Best Dressed by UK Glamour magazine, looks amazing in this jumpsuit. I love the color, the structure, and the patterns. Way to go K Stew.
I don't think Minka Kelly could ever look bad in anything on the red carpet because she is so beautiful. The color and jewel details of this Carolina Herrera dress is absolutely stunning!
I mean...did you expect anything less from Sarah Jessica Parker? Only at the Met Gala is a mohawk headpiece appropriate. SJP looked amaze in this Giles Deacon gown. She also played out the punk theme really well by putting a girly spin on it.
Rooney Mara's Givenchy gown was so gorgeous! I love that she decided to do a white dress with a super dark lip.
Ok...I need Stacy Keiblers whole outfit in my closet right now. Brad Goreski is no Rachel Zoe, but he made a great choice with this Rachel Roy mini.
Although I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift herself, she actually looked like an adult in her J. Mendel gown. You can never go wrong with gold, black, and a jeweled collar.
Fashionista Alexa Chung killed it in this Erdem dress. Girlfriend can pull off anything!
HERE ARE MY NOT SO FAVORITE LOOKS OF THE NIGHT:
I love Cameron Diaz....but what is this? Don't get me wrong, I love Stella McCartney, the color is great, and the belt is kind of awesome. I just don't get the dress. Not flattering.
When is comes to Coco Rocha and the red carpet it's either hit or miss. She either looks absolutely stunning or absolutely hideous. Last night she chose to look hideous.
I like the idea of Elizabeth Banks look, however this blazer dress just doesn't fit her properly. It's too big and frumpy.
I'm still on the fence about Beyonce's Givenchy gown. I know everyone is
going crazy on how much they love this look. Don't get me wrong, I love
Givenchy and this gown, but I think this look was styled wrong. I hate the boots and
the gloves. It's a little over the top (even for the Met Gala).
Ok, I get that last nights theme was Punk. But Madonna seriously looked like she stepped out of a Good Charlotte music video. Just because it's Givenchy doesn't mean it's right girlfriend.
Miley Cyrus is on everyone's best dressed list, and I just don't get it. This Marc Jacobs dress is so boring and I don't think it's flattering on her at all.
I never thought I would disagree with a Mary Kate Olsen/Chanel combo, but I just wasn't feeling this look at all. It looks like she got ready with her eyes closed.
Did anyone else laugh out loud when they saw what Kim Kardashian was wearing? I hope I wasn't the only one. Only a certain type of woman can pull off this Givenchy dress, and it is certainly not a 5 foot zero, 20 month pregnant one.
Zandra Rhodes looks like a perfect combination of a pirate, a gypsy, and a hooker.
All the costume is most unique and its huge expensive and its all night party dresses,so good looking.
